Meath winners at Dundalk

Based in Agher near Summerhill, trainer Sheila Lavery is enjoying a good run of form and was on the mark at Dundalk last night when Danz Gift ended a 16-run sequence in search of a first win by taking the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap.

Ronan Whelan partnered Danz Gift and hit the front about a half-a-furlong from home on the way to a length and a half win.

The Tony Martin-trained Moonmeister won on his third outing for the trainer in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Handicap - previously trained a few miles away near Longwood by Gordon Elliott.
