Road to Clonmel for Riches

After missing the JNwine.com chase at Down Royal, the Noel Meade-trained Road To Riches will head to Clonmel next week for the €47,500 Clonmel Oil Chase on Thursday 12th November.

Road To Riches won the Grade 1 JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal last year and was also victorious in the Grade 1 Lexus Chase at Leopardstown last Christmas. He then ran a close third to Coneygree in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and filled that same position behind Don Cossack in the Bibby Financial Services Punchestown Gold Cup in April.

Gordon Elliott has also entered three, all owned by Gigginstown House Stud. He could be represented by Clarcam, twice a winner at the highest level last season, the stable’s 15-time winner Roi Du Mee and Bright New Dawn.

NAVAN - SUNDAY
Dunshaughlin jockey Keith Donoghue will partner Flemenstar when the Stephen Currean-owned former winner appears in the Fortria Chase at Navan on Sunday.
