Questions to be asked ahead of first Meath Local Community Safety Partnership meeting

Members of the public have until next Tuesday to submit questions they wish to have considered for the first public meeting of the Meath Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) which takes place at the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday, 24th September.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the work of the Partnership, hear about progress made to date, and engage directly with representatives on matters relating to community safety across Meath.

The Meath LCSP brings together representatives from local government, An Garda Síochána, community and voluntary organisations, public services and local communities to identify and address community safety priorities throughout the county. It effectively replaces the previous Meath Joint Policing Committee which last met in 2024.

Members of the public are invited to attend the Meath LCSP public meeting and participate. The Partnership is also encouraging individuals, community groups and organisations to submit questions in advance of the meeting. Where possible, questions received before the closing date will be addressed by members of the Partnership during the event.

Questions should be submitted no later than Tuesday, 15th September 2026 to: communitysafety@meathcoco.ie.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, the Meath Local Community Safety Partnership Chairperson Ciarán Flynn said:
