Dunshaughlin jockey Keith Donoghue was successful at Leopardstown today.

Two Meath winners on final day

The final day of the Leopardstown Festival produced two more Meath winners with Andrew Lynch and Keith Donoghue on the mark. After going close in two grade one races yesterday, Ashbourne jockey Andrew Lynch made it into the winners' enclosure at Leopardstown today when he steered Sizing Gold to victory in a maiden hurdle. After finishing second on his first two outings over hurdles it was a case of third time lucky for Sizing Gold. Lynch took the lead coming to the end of the back straight and had three lengths to spare at the line. Dunshaughlin jockey Keith Donoghue was first home in the opportunity handicap chase, the first race on the card, with the Gordon Elliott-trained Tarquinius. Donoghue went for his race before the last to score by a comfortable 10 lengths.
