Three Meath athletes to run at European Championships

Athletics Ireland have named an exciting 25-strong team for the upcoming European Athletics under-18 Championships which take place later this week in Rieti, Italy from 16th to 19th July including two athletes from Ratoath AC and one from Dunboyne AC.

Ratoath AC's Aisling Shevlin and Chris Olatunde will be joined on the ireland team by Dunboyne AC's Arron Whelan.

Shevlin will compete in the 400m and the medley relay, while her club mate Olatunde will take part in the 200m and medley relay.

Dunboyne's Whelan will also run in the medley relay as well as the highly competitive 400m hurdles.
