Meath captain Maire O'Shaughnessy with her Roscommon counterpart Laura Fleming and referee Garry Owen McMahon before today's Ladies NFL Div 3 clash.

Meath maintain their winning ways

Ahead by 1-5 to 0-3 at the break Meath pushed on to make it three wins from three outings in the Ladies NFL Div 3 clash at Dunganny today when they defeated Roscommon 4-15 to 1-7.   .

Eamonn Murray's side were only brifely behind in that opening half and when Stacey Grimes slotted home from close range early in the second-half there was no stopping them.

Grimes finished with 1-8, four frees, while teenager Emma Duggan (in the opening half) along with Emma White and Niamh Gallogly also found the range for the fast-paced home side who put together a series of impressive moves.

Aoibhin Cleary, Orlagh Lally, Sarah Powderly, Bridgetta Lynch and Orla Byrne were others to contribute scores to the Meath cause. Roscommon did manage to engineer a goal from Joan Geoghegan but it merely served to put a better reflection on proceedings.
