Navan back on winning track in AIL

Navan got back on the winning track in the AIL Div 2C yesterday with a 28-18 victory against Wanderers at Balreask Old seven days after they had lost the reverse tie in Dublin.

This was a game Alan Kingsley and his troops badly needed to win to keep their promotion hopes afloat and tries by Simon Hogan, David King and Ray Moloney were crucial as was the kicking skill of Colm O’Reilly.

The Navan out-half converted two of those tries and overall displayed some superb kicking skills by landing three penalties.

Next up for Navan is the visit of Byne to Balreask Old next Saturday where another return of maximum points will be the target.
