Meath champions set for longford

There will be a trip to Longford on the cards for either Navan O'Mahonys or Na Fianna in the Leinster Club SFC quarter-finals.

The Meath SFC final will take place tomorrow in Navan's Pairc Tailteann with defending champions Navan O'Mahonys expected to retain the Keegan Cup at the expense of Na Fianna.

The winner of tomorrow's game will travel to Longford to tackle Killoe who today demolished Wexford side St James' by 5-11 to 1-4 in the Leinster Club SFC first round.


The Longford champions were ahead by 4-6 to 0-2 at the interval and won comfortable.

In a poll on meathchronicle.ie the voters just about favour Navan O'Mahonys to win with 49% of the vote compared to 44% for Na Fianna - 7% suggest it will be a draw.

If it is a draw, the replay will be the following Sunday in Navan.
