Treble for trainer Noel Meade today

Three for Meade at Down Royal

Six Meath winners out of seven today at Down Royal and three of them for Noel Meade with Road To Respect taking the feature.

Gordon Elliott sent out a brace and Tony Martin also got a bit of the limelight.

Road To Respect took the Grade 1 jnwine.com Champion Chase to improve on runner-up 12 months ago and a fourth in the Gold Cup at Cheltenham.

"I presume it will be Christmas, I would imagine it would be Leopardstown and then all roads lead to Cheltenham for the Gold Cup I would presume," commented Meade who also won with Brace Yourself and Snow Falcon.

Of Snow Falcon, the trainer said "He'll be entered in the big race at Christmas and he'll be entered in the King George and all those races because he does stay three miles."

Elliott had a first and last race double while Tony Martin was on the mark with Golden Spear for owner John Breslin.

At yesterday's opening day Meade, Elliott and Francis Casey were all in the winners' enclosure making it a good two-day outing for Meath connections.
