Meath towns presented with awards at the 2022 SuperValu TidyTowns ceremony

The 2022 SuperValu TidyTowns awards for the Midlands and East region were presented on Wednesday 28th June at St Loman's Gaa Clubhouse in Trim.
Each of the winners were presented with their awards by Councillor Paul McCabe, Leas Cathaoirleach of Meath County Council and Anthony Robinson, SuperValu Regional Manager.
This year Meath County Council and SuperValu are celebrating their 32nd year of partnership and sponsorship of the competition.
Four of Meath's towns were presented with awards at the gathering;

Dunboyne were awarded the 'Climate Action Award 2022'.

Moynalty won the '2022 SuperValu TidyTowns County Highly Commended' award as well as a gold medal.

Athboy received the '2022 SuperValu TidyTowns County Commended' award as well as a silver medal.

Trim were presented with many awards on the night including, 'Ireland's Tidiest Town', '2022 SuperValu TidyTowns County Winner' and a gold medal.
The prize-giving ceremony was a great success. Cllr Paul McCabe took to Facebook to say:
"I had the pleasure to present awards to almost 100 Tidy Towns groups from across the North East and Midlands in Trim last night. Particularly proud to present awards to Moynalty Tidy Towns, Athboy Tidy Towns and last year's overall winners Trim Tidy Towns."
