Old rivals set to renew rivalries this weekend

Four exciting Camogie final clashes await after a superb weekend of semi-final action in Dunganny.
The first of the Meath camogie champions were crowned on Saturday when Wolfe Tones defeated Navan O’Mahonys by two points in the Junior B decider.
A late goal helped Wolfe Tones clinch the victory in this nail-biting encounter as they overcame the Navan side that beat them in the group stage to claim their club’s first camogie championship title.
The remaining four titles are on the line this weekend, with the Senior A and Intermediate games set for Saturday in Trim and the Senior B and Junior A deciders to take place on Sunday, although times and venues have still to be confirmed.
The two senior finals are not to be missed.
The Senior A meeting of Na Fianna and Kilmessan needs no introduction, while the Senior B game between Trim and O'Mahonys promises to be an equally enthralling contest.
Coincidentally, both of these match-ups met in the opening round of the championship on Monday 17th August and it will be interesting to see the effect of the intervening two months when the sides renew their rivalries.
The Intermediate and Junior A finals are also shaping up to be two cracking matches.
A heated battle unfolded between Dunderry and Drumree in the group stages and both will be desperate for an Intermediate title and the opportunity to play senior camogie in 2027.
Trim and Dunderry both have two teams in finals this weekend as their second teams do battle for Junior A honours.
These sides drew in the group stages and the final is sure to be another closely-fought contest.
The biggest weekend of the Meath camogie season is here, and it’s all to play for.
