Late goal by Finns sees Shamrock Rovers tied after first leg

Shamrock Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Kuopion Palloseura FC - known as KuPS - after they conceded an 85th-minute equaliser in their first-leg tie of their Conference League play-off tie.

Former Sheffield United full-back Enda Stevens put the Irish outfit ahead after 49 minutes, but they were denied a precious victory when one-time Charlton Athletic youngster Piotr Parzyszek levelled late on at Tallaght Stadium.

Rovers will travel to Finland next week needing a win to keep their European hopes alive.
