Star of the Sea athlete hoping to add to Irish medal haul

After Thursday's medal rush for Mark English and Rashidat Adeleke at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham Star of the Sea AC's Andrew Coscoran boosted Ireland's chances of more reward when he qualified for the final of the 1500m.

Coscoran came home inside the top-six in fourth place, finding a late surge down the home straight when he briefly looked to be flagging on the final bend.
