The Tradition of Boyne Currach Building – Boyne Currach Heritage Group

Boyne Currach Centre Open for the week - all welcome! Events to include: Traditional currachs on display, including reconstructed Boyne currachs, boatbuilding workshops and traditional craft demonstrations, covering skills such as woodworking, weaving,and rope making. Arts & Crafts for children based around the theme of the Boyne Currach.

Tours of Moyglare Manor in association with Historic Houses of Ireland

Moyglare Manor is a magnificent mid-eighteenth century country house, situated on the borders of Meath and Kildare, 2km from Maynooth. The property has undergone extensive renovations to return it to its former splendour.
Guided tours begin every hour on the hour, so you can join a tour at 9, 10, 11 or 12 o’clock. Admission: Adults €12. Students & Children €6.
