MEATH CHRONICLE SFC TEAM OF THE WEEK

The first Meath Chronicle SFC Team of the Week was, as always, very difficult to pick with players edged out by the smallest margins.

It was a thrilling start to the championship with superb defensive performances and high scoring individual displays in almost every game with Aaron Murphy and Conor Duke accounting for 20 of Dunshaughlin's 27 points in their win over Simonstown, while Aaron Lynch clipped over 12 points for Trim, just one less than Murphy, in his side's victory over Na Fianna.
