Chalk Talk: Serious talent on display at St Ciaran’s CS
There was plenty of talent on display at St Ciarán’s CS recently as students took to the stage for the school’s annual Talent Show, which this year was held in Eureka House Hall.
The event has become a real favourite in the school calendar over the years and once again there was a brilliant mix of music, dance and entertainment on the night, with students getting the chance to showcase talents outside the classroom.
Taking first place this year was the boy band made up of Jake Coyne, Lee Barry, Matteo Brady, Nathan Brady and Fionn Cleary with their performance of Little Things by One Direction, which went down a treat with the crowd.
Second place went to Nel Fitzsimons, Jamie English and Sophie Conroy, who performed four Irish dances between them, while third place went to Matas Slezinskas for his electric guitar performance of Ain’t Talkin’ Bout Love by Van Halen.
The Talent Show continues to be a lovely opportunity for students to build confidence, make memories and enjoy a great night together as a school community.
