Applications open for new cost rental homes in Dunshaughlin

Applications are now open for 51 new apartments in Dunshaughlin, under the cost rental scheme where rents are at least 25 per cent below the market average for the area. The homes have been delivered by Clúid, Ireland’s leading Approved Housing Body (AHB).

Applications for the 12 one-bed, 32 two-bed and seven three-bed apartments in The Willows, Dunshaughlin, opened on Wednesday and will be accepted until 5pm on 30th September.

Interested applicants can apply for one of the 51 brand new, A-rated apartments. Rent the one-bed apartments is €1,313 per month. Rent for the two-bed apartments is €1,463 per month and rent for the three-bed apartments is €1,725 per month. This represents a saving of at least 25 per cent on the market rent for a similar home in the area.

In addition to the low cost to run these brand-new homes, Cost Rental residents will also benefit from secure, life-long tenancies and high-quality, responsive management and maintenance.

Averil Power, Chief Executive Officer, Clúid, commented: “At Clúid we’re well aware of the difficulties facing those trying to find a secure, good value home in the private rental sector. We’re therefore delighted to open applications for these high-quality one-, two- and three-bed homes. With rents at least 25 per cent below the market rent, this is a great opportunity for individuals and families to enjoy a secure, long-term tenancy in a brand new, high-quality, mixed-tenure development, close to all the amenities of Dunshaughlin.

“We are expecting high demand for these homes, due to the high quality, excellent location and reduced rents. We’re urging interested applicants to familiarise themselves with the eligibility requirements and to complete their applications on www.cluid.ie as soon as possible. Applicants will need to submit all their documentation online before 5pm on Wednesday 30th September to be included in the lottery.”

The homes are set within The Willows development, a modern mixed-tenure housing scheme, on the outskirts of Dunshaughlin. The homes are located close to amenities and facilities including primary and secondary schools, shops, restaurants, sports and leisure facilities, and Fairyhouse Racecourse. Dunshaughlin is located close to Dublin and is well serviced with transport links including the M3 railway station, bus routes and the M3 motorway.
