Navan business owner appeals for return of stolen chairs

A Navan business owner has appealed for the return of two distinct chairs which were stolen from her Bakery Lane premises off Trimgate Street at the weekend.

On Saturday 1st August, the two pieces of furniture were taken from Marion Gilsenan’s RedRiver Yoga studio located in Trimgate Mall by two individuals who were captured taking the chairs on CCTV footage at approximately 9:47pm.

The yoga studio, which has been open since 2022, had two red cushioned mahogany chairs outside of the door.

Owner of RedRiver Yoga, Marion Gilsenan said: “The lane way that leads into Trimgate Mall would usually have a shutter down at that time of night, but one of the other businesses was working later that evening.”

Marion runs the business by herself and has never had any trouble before this incident.

The two individuals walked into the lane way and took the chairs before leaving and turning towards the Fair Green while carrying the chairs in hand.
