Wind and rain forecast for next few days in Meath

Co Meath will be mostly cloudy with patches of drizzle and mist today with more persistent rain developing in the northwest this evening.

It will be quite windy with a fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly wind, very strong at times, with highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.

Tonight rain will spread southeast across the rest of Ulster, turning heavy at times. Breezy and blustery with a fresh and gusty southwesterly wind, becoming northwesterly and easing in most areas later. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees.

Tomorrow, Tuesday will be wet with widespread rain which will be heavy at times and may cause localised flooding.

The rain will clear southeastwards during the afternoon, with drier and clearer weather following by evening. Afternoon temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees with a light to moderate northwest to north wind.
