Meath player scoops €3.9m Lotto jackpot

Lotto players in Meath are being urged to check their tickets after the National Lottery confirmed that the winning ticket in Saturday night's €3.9m draw was sold in Meath.

It was a St Patrick’s weekend to remember for a number of Lotto players throughout Ireland in a bumper Lotto draw which saw one winning ticketholder from Co Meath win Saturday night’s jackpot worth a life-changing €3,987,540.

The National Lottery are urging Lotto players in Meath to check their tickets to see if they are Ireland’s 11th lottery millionaire of 2023.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s (18th March) draw were:  05, 09, 11, 13, 24, 47 and the bonus was 41.

The National Lottery has not yet revealed the location where the winning ticket was sold.

The lucky Meath player wasn’t the only big winner in Saturday night’s draw. Among the 93,000 prize winners throughout the country, another player in Dublin scooped the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize which was worth an incredible €180,041.

Meanwhile, there were even more winners in Saturday night’s Lotto draw which saw 83 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million. There were 83 Raffle winners which meant the boosted prize fund divided out to a prize of €12,548 for each Raffle winner.

With so many big wins in Saturday night’s Lotto draw, the National Lottery is urging players nationwide to check their tickets very carefully.

The two big winners of the night from Meath and Dublin are advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and keep them safe.
