"Never has there been a more challenging time for business in the county and the country. Having emerged from the massive difficulties created by Covid, we know are facing into a winter of surging energy and material cost increases and an uncertain economic outlook. And yet, we continue to be amazed by the resilience and innovation and steadfast determination by our local businesses not just to survive but to thrive.

"We are delighted that we can come together on 25th November in Knightsbrook Hotel to celebrate their successes and achievements."

Mr Becton added that the success of the awards wouldn't be possible without the partnership support of Meath Co Council as well the main sponsors - eCOMM, AIB, Discover Boyne Valley, Dunboyne College of Further Education, Alltech, Devenish, Boliden Tara Mines and Sheridan Insurances.
