Gathering comparisons to Billie Holiday and a wealth of critical acclaim, her award nomination as ‘Best Burlesque Singer’ should leave you in no doubt – Imelda May is the modern face of jazz.

Imelda May’s career began aged 14 filming an advert for fish fingers; these days she’s more likely to be found at the heart of fashion than selling frozen food. Flaunting her unique 1950s style on the front cover of the Irish Sunday Times Style Magazine, Milan Fashion Week took notice and hosted Imelda May for a Roberto Cavalli private party performance.

When The Rolling Stones handpick you to open for them at Ireland’s biggest stadium, you know you are onto a winner. The Mick Jagger-approved are indie-pop princes-in-waiting. A thrilling live four-piece, their super-uplifting, hugely melodic guitar-driven sound is the product of a tight-knit gang who have been playing together since school, when they first bonded over the sounds of The Strokes and Vampire Weekend.

Forming in their early teens, The Academic are Craig Fitzgerald, Dean Gavin and brothers Matt and Stephen Murtagh, the band have seen an incredible rise since forming, emerging as one of the most exciting live acts on the music scene.

With a career that has earned him 1.8 billion streams at Spotify, 1 Diamond and 45 Platinum & Gold records across the globe, a #1 album in Ireland, a sold-out world tour and live shows with Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan and James Blunt, Gavin James released his third studio album ‘The Sweetest Part’, out 22nd July 2022 which went No.1 on the Irish official album charts is second No.1 album in 24 months.

Gavin kicked off 2022 with a UK Arena tour with James Blunt and embarked on his Irish headline tour and a summer full of festival dates across Europe. Now with a new album in hand Gavin will be before announcing global tour dates, which already include the Amsterdam Bostheater on 22nd Sept. Gavin is no stranger to the live circuit, having a sold-out world tour which started in 2019 and ended with a sold-out 3Arena Dublin show, one of the last shows in Ireland before lockdown. Since then, he has released his number 1 Irish album and airplay-charting ‘Boxes’ EP.

Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats first hit Irish airwaves in 2018, and its combination of classic 90’s dance hits, timeless R&B and boundless hip-hop was an instant success to Irish audiences. In recent times, Pierce has taken the show to the masses, with live shows for thousands in venues up and down the country. Most recently, he headlined the Friday night of Kaleidoscope Festival in Blessington, Co. Wicklow.

The live show is a performance of the world’s biggest dance anthems featuring a DJ set, live tribal drummers & special guests. A raw, energetic live set including tracks from Underworld, Faithless, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and many more. Block Rockin’ Beats is a show where rave meets rock music.
