Traffic Light issues in Virginia highlighted

The council has warned motorist travelling through the town of Virginia to “exercise caution” while an issue with traffic lights persists.

The traffic lights in Virginia Town are located on the N3, and govern the junction connecting to the Bailieborough Road also.

In a message posted on social media, the local authority said: “We are aware of an issue affecting the traffic lights in Virginia Town and working to resolve the issue. Road users should exercise caution in the area while the issue persists.”
