‘Vintage Sparkle’ theme to Most Stylish Lady at BoyleSports Irish Grand National

Newly minted Dancing with the Stars winner and former Irish Grand National winning jockey, Nina Carberry, will be hot to trot as as this year’s guest judge for the Most Stylish Lady at the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.

She will be joined by style sponsor, Gráinne Ross, managing director of Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, as she chooses the most stylish lady on the day. The theme of this year’s Most Stylish Lady is Vintage Sparkle, as this year celebrates 150 winners of the Irish Grand National. Nina will look for a lady who has dressed to impress, with her personal take on the theme, and of course, the essential race day head piece.

Amid tears, twirls and tiaras, Nina and pro dancer Pasquale La Rocca were crowned champions of Dancing with the Stars in an emotion-filled finale on Sunday night.

“I can’t sum it up,” said a near-speechless Carberry as confetti rained down.

This year, the winning lady will receive a trip to Champagne, France. This weekend getaway includes an overnight in Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, along with flights, transfers, and three nights in a luxury hotel in Champagne, as well as being treated to a tour and tasting in the cellars of a premium Champagne house. The winner will also receive €500 spending money to round off a wonderful weekend. The two runners up will receive a spa day for two people at the tranquil Seoid Spa at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa.

Nina Carberry is looking forward to the festival, saying: "It goes without saying that the Grand National has a special place in my heart and attending it as a judge of the Most Stylish Lady will be extra special this year. I know that the task of picking just one lady to receive this wonderful prize will be a difficult one. Mostly, I’ll be looking for a lady whose personality shines through in what she is wearing and for someone who interprets the Vintage Sparkle theme in her own unique way."

Ladies hoping to take part can register at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa Most Stylish Lady marquee beside the parade ring in Fairyhouse, from 12 noon on Easter Monday, 18th April 2022.
