Incredible SEVEN winners for Gordon Elliott at Navan

Gordon Elliott trained an incredible SEVEN straight winners at his local Navan Racecourse today, at combined odds of a staggering 37,204-1.

The Summerhill man always enjoys his outings at Navan - Run Wild Fred trained by Elliott landed the Ladbrokes Troytown Handicap Chase with a commanding performance at the same venue two weeks ago - but today he took his success at the Proudstown track to new heights.

10/1 shot The Goffer won handy in the Kilberry Pub & Kitchen Maiden Hurdle under jockey Jody McGarvery.

Then Ginto (11/8), one of Noel and Valerie Moran's horses won the Grade 2 Navan Novice Hurdle piloted by Jamie Codd.

In the Bective Stud Handicap Hurdle the Commander Of Fleet at 40/1 was a shock victory

Next up, Denis O'Regan on board 1/4 favourite Riviere D'etel came home a convincing winner in the ISF EBF Klairon Davis Novice Chase - another triumph for owners Noel and Valerie Moran.

Gigginstown Stud then enjoyed a victorious double with Farouk D'alene (7/2) winnning on his debut over fences in the hands of Kevin Sexton before Conflated (9/4) then won the Foxrock Handicap Chase.

Elliott climb to Seventh Heaven was complete when 10/11 favourite Itswhatunitesus went clear in the concluding bumper, with Jamie Codd doing the steering again.

Anyone on that accumulator could have odds of a whopping 37,204-1.
