Registration for next Meath Joint Policing meeting closes today

Anyone wishing to attend the next public meeting of the Meath Joint Policing Committee on 17th November has until 4pm today to register.

Today is also the closing date for questions to be submitted ahead of the virtual meeting which will take place by Zoom at 7pm on Wednesday, 17th November.

The Meath Joint Policing Committee includes elected members of Meath County Council, Oireachtas members, garda representatives, community representatives and officials from Meath County Council.

It is a forum for consultations, discussions and recommendations on matters affecting the policing of the council's administrative area.

Members of the public have the right to attend the meeting, to have their views heard and to put questions to the committee.

Pre-registration for attendance is required in advance by email to jpc@meathcoco.ie, following which the zoom link will be forwarded to the email address provided.

All questions concerning the policing of County Meath should be submitted in writing to: Community Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan Co. Meath or by e-mail to jpc@meathcoco.ie

Questions and pre-registration requests should be received no later than 4pm on Friday, 5th November 2021 and must include the name and address of the person submitting the question/request, which will be kept confidential.
