Sil Ver class for Dunboyne syndicate at Navan

There was a real Dunboyne win in the last at Navan today when the Tony Martin-trained Sil Ver Klass was on the mark over a mile and six for a first win on the flat for the hurdler - chaser.

Owned by Mulvany's Bar Syndicate in Dunboyne they had a good Dunboyne man on board in Derby-winning jockey Padraig Beggy.

Some of the members of the syndicate include Brendan Mulvany, Philip Reilly, Ray Mitchell and Kit Toole and they have previously enjoyed success with Drakensberg also trained by Tony Martin

The Dunboyne-owned and French-bred winnertos=day was winning for the first time since getting the verdict in a Limerick handicap hurdle in April 2018 after initial winner Trump Sixteen was later disqualified.

“He had been running very consistently over hurdles for the last year-and-a-half so it's lovely to come back and win one on the flat for the lads in the syndicate," said the trainer.

Drakensberg runs at Dundalk tomorrow night.
