Meath's Conor McGill in possession during last summers Super 8s clash with Mayo.

No changes for Meath - or will there?

As has become the norm Meath manager Andy McEntee has named the same starting 15 that started the previous game against Donegal for Sunday's NFL Div 1 round three clash with Mayo in Pairc Tailteann, 2pm.
Apart from naming Barry Dardis in goals the team released to the media ahead of the Donegal game was the same as the team that started against Tyrone, and that trend has continued with the team announcement for Sunday's game against Mayo.
From the team that appeared in the matchday programme for the game against Donegal there were three changes with Mark Brennan taking over the number 16 shirt from Dominic Yorke and starting in goals ahead of Dardis.
The other two changes before throw-in saw Ronan Jones come into the side instead of Ronan Ryan with Brian Conlon moving to centre-back to facilitate Jones taking up a midfield position, while Mathew Costello came in to start in place of Ben Brennan.
Those late changes to the starting team have been retained to start against Mayo, but if McEntee is to remain true to form then there could well be a change or two to the announced starting team before Sunday's 2pm throw-in.

The team selected to start against Mayo on Sunday is - Mark Brennan; Robin Clarke, Conor McGill, David Toner; James McEntee, Brian Conlon, Donal Keogan; Bryan Menton, Ronan Jones; Mathew Costello, Bryan McMahon, Eamon Wallace; Cillian O'Sullivan, Thomas O'Reilly, Joey Wallace.
