Maura Higgins joins the party as Navan students celebrate Leaving Cert results

Maura Higgins joined celebrating Leaving Certificate students at the results party at the Palace Nightclub in Navan on Wednesday night. Maura took the opportunity to party with her sister Becky and friend Becky Marlow at the special event. She even got behind the bar where she learnt to pull the perfect pint of Guinness. Maura spent nearly two hours posing for photos with eager fans on the night. 

Some 2,353 students received their Leaving Certificate results.
A total of 1,210 females and 1,138 males sat the leaving cert in Meath this year while 105 took the Leaving Cert Applied exam - 71 of them males and 34 females.
The results came out a day earlier than in previous years and the CAO Round One offers of college places will be known (today) Thursday, four days earlier than usual and the Leaving Certificate appeals process has been reduced from eight weeks to five.
