Oldcastle produce the firepower to defeat Lismullen

There was plenty of end-to-end attacking football in the Girls Div 2 11-a-side final as Oldcastle NS defeated Lismullen NS 2-11 to 1-1 in the Meath Primary Schools' finals at Trim today. 

With Orla Hetherton showing the way with four points Oldcastle led 0-5 to 0-0 at the interval and they never looked like relinquishing their lead. 

Lismullen never stopped battled adn they got a second half goal from Emily Reilly but there was simply no stopping the team from the north Meath school. 

On their way to the final Oldcastle finished top of their group and they showed why with is great victory.
