Meath make it two from two at Ruislip

Meath made it two out of two this afternoon in Ruislip with a 1-24 to 1-14 NHL Div 2A victory over London for a place at the top of the table.

Manager Nick Fitzgerald made a number of changes to the team after last week's first round win over Kildare with

Kilmessan's Shane Brennan, Kiltale's Cathal McCabe and Dunboyne's Sean Quigley all starting.

The manager also made several positional switches with James Kelly and James Toher in the forwards while Jack Regan who scored 1-10 last week moved to midfield.

Kilmessan's Joey Keena wasn't part of the panel for today's visit to London while Adam Gannon and Colm O Mealoid both dropped to the bench, but were introduced as substitutes along with Eamon Ó Donnchadha, Mark O'Sullivan and Padraig Kelly.

Meath were ahead by 0-14 to 0-7 at the interval and when Sean Quigley added a goal in the second-half it sealed the victory. Jack regan was the top scorer with 10 points to move onto 1-20 for the campaign so far.

London's goal arrived with almost the last puck of the game.
