Mum-to-be left stranded after My Cosy Baby outlet in Trim ceases trading

A Cork woman who is expecting her first baby and ordered her pram online from a Trim company has spoken of being left high and dry after the company ceased trading.

Stephanie Flavin ordered a Venice 3 in 1 pram system and an isofix base from My Cosy Baby's website on 18th January, paying a total of €539 by visa debit card. She received a confirmation email and receipt and they were due to be delivered between 22nd and 29th January. Stephanie has not received her order and her attempts to contact the company have been unsuccessful. She discovered from their facebook page that the company is no longer trading.

"I have been trying to email them and trying to ring them but haven't got any response, " said Stephanie. She added that the website now says "under construction".

A message on the company's facebook page posted on Friday morning 26th January says :" Important Notice. It is with deepest regret that Leimak Leisure Limited trading as My Cosy Baby has ceased trading.
Please check back to this page over the coming weeks for information on the appointed administrator."

The My Cosy Baby Unit on Haggard Street is now empty and there is a sign outside advertising it for letting.

Attempts by the Meath Chronicle to contact My Cosy Baby were unsuccessful.
