Bare Food Cafe seeks healthy lifestyle leaders

Drogheda café The Bare Food Company, a premier venue for healthy eating, is aiming to make the area a healthier place by launching a new campaign – ‘Operation Bare Food’.

The café has teamed up with a group of personal trainers including Daniel Black of Innovative Fitness, Maria Foran of Boyneside Strength and Performance and are looking for a group of ‘leaders’ to engage in a vigorous six-week plan involving lots of exercise and a healthy diet that will transform their lifestyle. Simultaneously, people will be able to follow this six-week plan on The Bare Food Company’s website, meaning anybody can get involved.

To source the leaders, the café, owned by Drogheda couples Damien Leddy and Sonia Micallef of D’Vine and along with health enthusiasts Mark Gibbons and Maria Ward, is calling on people of Drogheda and surrounds who are in search of a healthier lifestyle to apply to be leaders on the café’s website at http://www.thebarefoodcompany.ie/operationbarefood or by calling in personally to the café.

Successful applicants will be treated to one juice and one daily meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) in the café along with their own personal trainer who will be putting together a six-week plan for them to engage in. The café has also partnered a local nutritionist Ciara Ryan who will be providing leaders with daily recipes they can cook themselves. Both the training plans and recipes will be shared on the website also.

The campaign begins on Sunday, 17th April and will end six weeks later when one overall winner will be chosen from the leaders. The winning prize will be a luxury stay in a spa hotel, 12 months discount in the café and more.
