Sneaky for Mulvany at Limerick

Meath trainer Michael Mulvany who is based outside Navan wouldn't have a lot of bumper horses, but he appears to have unearthed a good one which got off the mark at Limerick today with the help of Nina Carberry on board.

The Sneaky Punter had two previous runs and was only third choice in the betting, but handled the testing conditions well.

It also completed a three-timer in this race for Nina Carberry who won it in 2015 and 2014. However the winner was well supported on the track from an opening show of 5/1 to go off at 7/2.

The Meath trained horse won by a length with almost 20 lengths back to the third.

The Sneaky Punter finished third to the JP McManus-owned dual bumper winner Aspen Colorado last time out at Leopardstown and is owned by local man Paddy Rogers of the Grange Racing Syndicate.
