Garden of Remembrance opens in Laytown

The 1916 Garden of Remembrance was officially opened today in Marian Villas, Laytown. The opening was attended by the Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen and Women, and overseen by Laytown-Bettystown District Councillors and Meath County Council.

It was a proud morning for all involved and a fitting tribute to mark the 1916 centenary in the area.
