Good photo of faulty floodlight pylon in Navan

Hard to believe that this photo from February this year might become a bit of a collectors item in the sense that it shows the original 'faulty' floodlight pylon in Páirc Táilteann although that fact was not widely konown at the time.

The photo is one of the many excellent photographs included in the annual Ray McManus / SPORTSFILE Season of Sundays publication that was officialy launched in November

Now into its 19th year of publication, the photography highlights for 2015 from Gaelic Games are featured.

The title of the photo at Pairc Tailteann reads

CONSERVING ENERGY
The Páirc Tailteann floodlights remain unlit - all the better to appreciate the magnificent skyline - but tickets are selling ahead of a Meath home win over neighbours Kildare.

UPDATE

There are no floodlights at the Navan venue now and finances will determine the date of a possible return in 2016 - estimated around April next year.
