St Seachnall's win Boys Div 1 final
St Seachnall's brought the curtain down on the Meath Primary Schools' football finals for 2015 with a 4-7 to 3-4 victory against Dunboyne SPS in the Boys' Div 1 final at Dunganny GAA Centre this evening.
This was a first victory at this grade for St Seachnall's who last appeared in the Div 1 decider in 2012 where they were beaten by St Michael's (Trim).
The result was disappointing for Dunboyne who won the title 12 montsh ago and were going for two in-a-row.
GENERALI - SPIRIT OF THE FINAL
There was a bonus for St Seachnall's when goalkeeper Jack Harrington was selected as the recipient of the Spirit of the Final award.
The awards, awarded to a player from each final, will be presented next Wednesday 9th December by members of the sponsors GENERALI in the Newgrange Hotel, Navan from 11am.
