Browne on way to kells

‘The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne’ is on its way to Meath East.

‘The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne’ will be in the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells on Monday 11th May and constituents are invited to participate. Arrival time is 7pm.

The debate itself will air two days later on Wednesday 13th May from 10pm – 12am on TV3.

‘The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne’ will visit all 40 constituencies, inviting sitting TDs to join, allowing members of the general public, political party representatives and a variety of groups and associations to join in discussions on all matters of local and national importance.

In each one of the 40 Irish constituencies, The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne will see a town hall debate with a local audience, calling TDs to account, querying them on what they are promising their constituents. Previous topics that have proved popular amongst other constituencies include same sex marriage, housing, mortgage arrears, the marriage referendum, political reform and the makeup of the next Government. The burning issues for the constituency will become clear on the night as locals are encouraged to put forward topics they’d like discussed.

The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne hopes to involve as many local people as possible around the country, not just TDs.

Members of the public are encouraged to arrive early to the venue, no later than 7pm, to avoid disappointment. Recording must commence at 8pm sharp.
