Ladies bid for meath hattrick

Meath lady footballers will face Cavan in the final round of the National Ladies Football League Div 2 on Sunday and manager Diane O'Hora will be looking for some improvement following a heavy defeat by Armagh in the last round.

With Cavan having already qualified for the semi-finals and Meath assured of Div 2 status for 2016, there is nothing at stake apart from pride.

O'Hora's side will be eager to finish the League strongly with the Aisling McGing u-21 championship now just weeks away and the Leinster Senior Championship edging ever closer.

Meath Ladies need support as they head to Breffini Park next Sunday where they will be bidding for a hat-trick after Meath men won the game in Navan last Sunday and Meath's second string camogie also defeated cavan last weekend.

FIXTURE
Sunday 12th April at 3:15pm
Cavan v Meath at Kingspan Breffni Park.
