Here's some info on each act:

WinterKing

WinterKing are a 3-piece from Cavan comprised of brothers:

Lee, Michael and Ferdia O'Brien and Ben Mccarthy on percussion.

Their music can best be described as uplifting!

Embracing folk, indie, and reggae culminating on the borders of alternative rock, with a dash of electronica thrown in for good measure!

Their live shows swing from the quietest whisper to infectious foot stomping crescendos.

What is most evident from their shows is their strong lyrical perspective that, everything is about perspective!

And in these worrying times, a message of hope and positivity is very welcome.

The Chimera Gallery

The Chimera Gallery is the realisation of a dream held by founder, Dave O'Shea, to develop a prominent and permanent art gallery, to share works by a wide variety of artists from all over the world.

In 2014, the decision was made to create a large gallery in Mullingar. The intention was (and is) to continue to offer the same informal environment that the people came to know and expect in the countryside and to build on its success.

The artists represented in the gallery are of a very high standard with many awards between them. The Gallery is a huge space in a convenient, central location, with sweeping whitewashed walls that are perfect for displaying quality art in welcoming and unpretentious surroundings.

He is currently working on his fifth short; a mockumentary film called Black Hole Summer, expected to premiere at Cannes 2015.

The VanWinkles

The VanWinkles return to the stage after an absence on the music scene. The band has had different line-ups since its formation but today consists of Martin Flanagan (guitar, vocals), Ian Melady (drums and percussion) and Martin Quinn (multi-instrumentalist, producer). In years gone by the Vanwinkles enjoyed success with their catchy pop/rock tunes playing venues like the Baggot Inn and The Rock Garden ? as well as the Hot Press Party in The Point depot. In the 1990?s they had songs included on Danceline?s best of unsigned Irish band compilation albums. True to their name, the Vanwinkles have been asleep for the past few years but have now awoken and recorded their first, and only album Every Hour.

Sean Ruane

Sean Ruane, a poet from Meath, read at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013. Two short films, 'Sean Ruane Poetry Live' and 'Sean Harlequinade' are on youtube.
