25 years of simply delicious

Twenty five years after 'Simply Delicious' first hit Irish TV screens, Darina Allen is back with her brother, Rory O’Connell, to present the first of this year’s RTE Christmas Food Specials: 'A Simply Delicious Christmas'. 

The menu includes oysters, artichoke soup, spiced beef, chocolate biscuits and a meringue Christmas tree.  Rory O’Connell is the co-founder of the Ballymaloe Cookery School, author of the acclaimed cook book ‘Master It’, and the recipient of the prestigious André Simon Award. Rory’s own series starts on RTÉ One in March 2015.

A Simply Delicious Christmas is produced and directed by David Hare of InproductionTV for RTÉ and sponsored by Kerrygold.

It airs at 8.30pm on Wednesday 10th December, on RTE One.
