Moynalty captured the MFC Div 4 final and the Dara Maxwell Cup with a thoroughly deserved 3-9 to 0-5 victory over Duleek / Bellewstown at Páirc Táilteann tonight
Moynalty were ahead by 1-5 to 0-2 at the interval although they hit eight wides with some poor finishing, but two second-half goals killed off the game and sealed the title.
Fiachra Gallagher, who wasn't announced in the starting line up, but actually did start, scored the first goal.
Patrick Farrelly converted a penalty (see video) for a 2-6 to 0-4 advantage, Robert Nevin had a goal chance soon after, but blazed over before Karl Lynch added the third goal.
This was a great performance by Moynalty.
