Champions move closersummerhillgaa to exit

Summerhill's grip on Keegan Cup was loosened further tonight when they were held to a 1-7 to 0-10 draw by St Patrick's in Dunshaughlin.

The defending champions led by 1-7 to 0-7 with five minutes to go courtesy of Brian ennis's brilliant penalty, but St Patrick's refused to buckle and they clawed their way back into contention with Niall Mooney pointing the equaliser three minutes into injury-time.

In Ashbourne Duleek/Bellewstown maintained their SFC aspirations with a 3-8 to 1-8 win over Blackhall Gaels. Graham Geraghty's side were inspired by two brilliant goals from Podge Howard, while John Flood also netted. Blackhall Gaels' goal game from a Sean Whelan penalty deep into injury-time.

Wolfe Tones sustained their perfect start to the championship when they made it four wins from four with a 1-12 to 0-8 win over Dunboyne in Pairc Tailteann.
