Jack Wise.

Wise man heads up Navan Laughs

After two sell-out shows so far this year, Navan Laughs is back at The (Comedy) Central on Thursday March 27th with another top class line-up of Irish comedy.

Headlining the show is the incredible Jack Wise, a winner of the Street Performance World Championship. Jack has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including The Late Late Show. He played a magic night in The Central last year, but he is also a veteran of the Irish comedy circuit and is the most requested headline act in Dublin’s Laughter Lounge. Magician, ventriloquist, pick pocket and sword swallower, Jack is one of Ireland’s leading entertainers and he will have you on the edge of your seat and trying not to fall off laughing.

Support comes from another Laughter Lounge regular, Gerry McBride, who has won every comedy award worth winning in Irish comedy. And speaking of awards, our line-up is completed by Sean Nolan, who won the RTE New Comedy Awards title last year. Since his win, Sean has gone on to headline clubs across the country and been chosen as support for top international acts like Lee Mack. As usual, we’ll also have a short spot for an up-and-coming new act, this month in the form of Ashlee Bentley. As ever, the gig will be hosted by Resident MC Alan Gernon.

Tickets are €10 and are available from The Central and online at www.ticketstop.ie Doors open at 8:30pm and the show kicks off at 9pm. Reserve a Comedy Meal Deal (2 Courses & a Gig Ticket) for €25 by phoning The Central on 046 902 7999.
