Treacy bidding for All-Ireland title

Sara Treacy will bid to regain the All-Ireland Inter-counties cross-country title next Sunday at Santry Demesne and gain a place on the Irish team for the European cross-country championships in Belgrade on Sunday 8th of December. 
 
The Meath athlete is in great form this season having finished second to European champion Fionnula Britton at the Gerry Farnan cross-country in the Phoenix Park and fourth last week in the Lotto Cross Cup in Belgium.

Darragh Rennicks (Bohermeen) will lead the men's senior team and will be hoping to make the u-23 team for the Europeans.
 
Along with Robbie Matthews (Dunshaughli)n and Star of the Sea duo of Mark Hoey and Eoin Callaghan Meath have a good chance to medal in grade A of the championship.

Andrew Coscoran (Star of the Sea) who finished second in the Meath senior cross-country  will hope to make the Junior mens team for Belgrade.
