Youth award for Heather Jameson

Heather Jameson took the Youth Award at last night's Rehab Meath Person of the Year awards at the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells, an event that was attended by a large number of guests.

The Ashbourne CS student outlined her busy schedule in a brief on-stage interview with MC Ken Murray and also touched on her ambitions for 2014 at the European competitions and more long-term for Rio in 2016.

Peter McKevitt of Rehab presented the award to Heather and congratulated her on her marvellous achievements which included the 2012 London Paralympics in the 100m 200m and long-jump.

Heather received a great reception from the audience and was a worthy recipient of the Youth Award on a night of great celebration.
