Navan restaurant shuts doors

One of Navan's best-known restaurants, The Loft, at Trimgate Street, has announced that it has closed.

Announcing the news on its Facebook page, the restaurant said: 'Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, The Loft has closed. We'd like to thank our suppliers and all the staff who helped to make the Loft what it was. 

'We'd like to say a particular thank you to our many loyal customers over the years, and we hope to see you in the near future. Thank you all from The Loft.'

The news was greeted with dismay from the popular eatery's many fans who expressed their sadness on The Loft's Facebook page that the premises has closed and sent their best wishes to staff.
