Meath hurlers face Kildare tonight

Meath will be in action this evening in the Leinster u-21 A HC at Trim when they tackle Kildare in the semi-final at 7.30.


Louth will play Wicklow in the other semi-final in Drogheda. 

Rathmolyon’s Mike Cole is the manager and he has selected a 24-man panel for the initial outing against what is likely to be a strong Kildare side.

Assisting Cole will be Niall Hackett (Dunboyne) and Noel Keating (Kiltale).

Included in the panel is minor hurler and footballer Charlie Bird along with a number of players off the Meath senior hurling panel including James Toher (Trim) and Adam Gannon (Killyon).


The team for the game is: C Murray; P Maguire, D Foley, T Raleigh; J Kelly, J Toher, R Andrews; S McGee, S Brennan; D McGee, D Healy, C McCabe; A Gannon, E Dixon, J Regan.

The winner of each game will meet in the final on 24th July - a home game for winner of Louth v Wicklow.
