Another award for Graham Reilly

Meath footballer Graham Reilly, who will be in action in the Leinster final next Sunday, has been announced as the GPA player-of-the-month for June today.

An inspirational performance by the St Colmcille's clubman helped the Royal County overcome Wicklow in the Leinster SFC quarter-final and Wexford in the semi-final last week.

'Our championships have really caught fire in the last number of weeks thanks to some memorable team performances and a number of stand-out results,' commented GAA president Liam O'Neill.

Each month, between May and October, a footballer and a hurler are awarded for their performances in the Provincial and All-Ireland Championships. Players are short-listed by members of the All-Stars Steering Committee and the winners selected by the county playing body. Each winner receives €1,000 and a trophy.
