Meath supporters are a little BLUE?

Meath supporters may be feeling a little bit out of sorts after the new 'supporters' jersey was unveiled last week as it is BLUE.

The jersey is certainly attractive in both design and colour, but it certainly moves away from the traditional green and gold that is associated with all Meath teams.

With Leinster SFC quarter-final opponents Wicklow also playing in blue on Saturday week at Aughrim, the venue could become a 'sea of blue' if Meath supporters decide to turn up in big numbers wearing the new Royal County jersey.

It is unlikely that the Co Board might be considering a change in colour from the traditional green and gold to the blue with green trim, but this is not confirmed at this stage.

It is also unclear at the moment whether Meath will wear green or yellow for their opening round Leinster SFC clash at Aughrim.
